PlyPatch™ is a quick and easy way to patch holes left by roof pots when converting to ridge vent during re-roofing. The simple design of PlyPatch allows for fast and hassle-free installation while providing a solid nail base for shingles.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

PlyPatch Step 1

Step 1:
Remove existing shingles, underlayment and roofing ventilation, creating a smooth surface around the hole.

Note: Hole size must be no greater than 8.5" by 8.5". IF HOLE IS TOO SMALL: Place PlyPatch™ over hole. Trace a line around the existing roof sheathing using PlyPatch™ as a template. Remove PlyPatch™ and cut roof to acceptable size. Place PlyPatch™ over modified hole.

PlyPatch Step 2

Step 2:
Place PlyPatch™ over hole with the plywood entering the hole and clips extending onto roof.

PlyPatch Step 3

Step 3:
Using a hammer or nail gun, drive two nails into each clip to secure PlyPatch™.

PlyPatch Step 4

Step 4:
Apply roofing underlayment and shingles per manufacturers' instructions.
